Amsterdam-born trumpeter, saxophonist, vocalist and bassist Saskia Laroo and US pianist, vocalist and percussionist Warren Byrd bring their adventurous musical dialogue to the inspiring gallery setting of Holland Tunnel Revisited in Newburgh, NY.

Expect an intimate afternoon of art, jazz, grooves, improvisation and spontaneous musical moments, surrounded by the colorful world of Jacques Roch’s paintings.

On Saturday, September 12, the Saskia Laroo Band will be the swinging closing act of the Tuschinski Festival in Rotterdam.

The festival takes place in the courtyard of the new Little C district, and celebrates jazz, young talent, creativity and the spirit of Abraham Tuschinski: “Nothing is impossible.”

After a full day of performances, workshops and emerging jazz talent, the Saskia Laroo Band will bring an energetic set full of jazz, funk, grooves, improvisation and feel-good music.
