DIRECTORS INVITE: THE BANGKOK SESSIONS The traditional closing event of the annual Amersfoort World jazz Festival is the Directors Invite. Tenor saxophonist Alexander Beets (Festival Director of AWJ) invites playing friends from the international scene on stage, including artists who were active at the festival. This year's show is all about the Bangkok Sessions, a project by Alexander Beets with Saskia Laroo (trumpet), Warren Byrd (Voc/Keyboards) and Koh Mr.Saxman (alto sax).
